Designed by the great James Braid and opened in 1895, Peel has stood the test of time, and today continues to provide a challenging test to golfers of all abilities. while not the longest, the course offers traditional heath-land golf with fast running fairway and small, firm undulating greens. The 11th hole has one of the most demanding tee shots on the island requiring a well struck shot over think gorse, once this has been negotiated club selection for the second shot, to a long severely sloping green, is vital. After your round the Clubhouse offers a wide selection of snacks and drinks.

Facilities
The pro shop carries an extensive range of ladies' and gentlemen's clothing. There is also a second hand golf centre featuring quality used equipment for sale. The club house provides bar snacks and full restaurant meals. Lessons are available from the professional, Murray Crowe and his assistants, one of whom is a female.
