Founded in 1895 Rowany golf club is a well maintained course with a newly installed irrigation system. There are some excellent views over the Irish Sea from the seaside town of Port Erin. This 18-hole heathland course has six testing par fours, two par threes and an uphill par five fifth hole on the front nine. The tenth is a par five and together with the last holes cut through gorse and rough. The clubhouse comforts will be a welcome sight at the end of the round. Many maintain that the seventh and twelfth holes, both par fours, are the most challenging of the course.
