The Mount Murray Golf and Country Club presents golfers with an opportunity to play on a superb 18-hole championship course set in magnificent scenery. The course skillfully incorporates the natural features of the Manx countryside with hedging, streams and lakes. The course is a challenge measuring 664 yards, comprising of two loops of nice holes. It has 5 par fives, 5 par threes and the rest being par fours. Variable teeing allows the course to be played to a shorter length offering a fairer challenge to the middle and high handicap golfer.

After a pleasant downhill opening hole there is a steady climb from the second tee to the sixth green. The seventh being 595 yards in length, making it the longest hole on the course, provides beautiful views across to Douglas and down to the south coast of the Island. Beware of the par 5 tenth green and the lake to the right of the par 4 eleventh green, both hazards attract may stray shots. The par 5 eighteenth, 534 yards, is a favourite with most golfers requiring skill and accuracy for the drive over the lake to an elevated tee in front of the club house.
